Dr Brandt Skincare Pores No More is not meant to shrink pores, just hide them and reduce their appearance. They claim it will absorb oils so that your skin will not be covered, yet you can still get the benefits of natural moisturization. After all, sebum is not the enemy, excess sebum production is what you should watch out for and what will ultimately cause acne. Products like acne stop the production of oils all together, causing all sorts of side effects and not actually getting rid of the acne some of the time. To their credit, they do use the antiseptic acne fighter known as tea tree oil.

Dr Brandt Skincare Pores No More does not reduce the production thereof, and though they claim it will apparently improve the skin's overall condition, there is nothing to verify that. And frankly, while it doesn't address acne as a whole, reducing oil production to some degree would actually help to prevent some cases of acne. While it uses tea tree oil, they do not specify the concentration, which the important concentration would be 5%. The other ingredients have no application to acne whatsoever.

They do not disclose real information about their product, and they likely don't use the right concentrations of the few effective ingredients they do have, leading to an acne treatment that doesn't actually work.
