Shiseido is a well known line of products generally found only in high end retail stores, and it can occasionally be found through internet retailers such as Amazon. They claim it will “lift away impurities” including make up, dirt, oils, and all with a “gentle and cooling feeling.” They focus on ingredients such as benzoic acid, rosemary, and peony root.

But Shiseido really doesn’t provide full ingredients lists for any of their products, let alone this one. There is no reason for them not to, except of course to hide a blatant lack of valid elements. The ingredients they do disclose ironically enough are not proven to work as any kind of acne fighter. They do not provide antibacterial, antiseptic, or any other relatable properties.

What Else Should I Know about Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam?

We suspect you are vastly overpaying for a basically worthless product, and frankly until or unless they prove otherwise, we will continue to say this and discourage the purchase of this product. It does not have any ingredients that would really “wash away impurities” or fight acne in any sense of the word. They are natural, but just because they’re natural doesn’t mean they will fight acne.
