Skin Zinc is of course based around the idea that supplementation of zinc can cure your acne. To their credit, zinc deficiencies have been shown to contribute to acne. They claim that this product can fight acne anywhere from the arms to the face, hands, scalp, back, or anywhere else you might get acne. And apparently, it may even eliminate dandruff and other problems not actually related to acne.
But the question is how many people have zinc deficiencies, and is it really the sole cause of their acne. We would say no on both counts. Realistically, there are not as many cases as Skin Zinc would like you to think, and there are plenty of other vitamin deficiencies which can also contribute to acne as well as toxins, bacteria, hormonal imbalances, and many other causes. Skin Zinc does not even begin to address anything else. They also fail to provide an ingredients list. We assume that they provide you with zinc, but everything else is up in the air.
Many third party retailers have discontinued Skin Zinc, and there is no proof that it actually treats acne, other skin conditions, dandruff, or anything else really. It fails to address many of the major causes of and issues surrounding acne. You will spend quite a bit for Skin Zinc where you can still get it. But your money would be wasted.
