Thermaclear is one of a recent wave of products using a hand held acne treatment device. In the case of Thermaclear however, they use a heating process that is supposed to loosen dirt from your pores, all without actually burning or damaging your skin. They provide you with a small, hand held device, and claim you can get fast acting and effective acne treatments within days. Apparently, it is “clinically proven to be safe and effective on all skin types and tones, clearing pimples up to 4 times faster htan those not treated with ThermaClear. Many see results in just 24 hours!”
There is however no proof that it can do any of these things, and it definitely won’t work for blackheads, whiteheads, and cystic acne. But you will pay $150 for the machine and extra money for the tips in the future, which have to be regularly changed. While they claim it will not burn the skin, this side effects is really inevitable. Many have complained about red spots at the site of application. What they have not reported is an improvement in their acne. Apparently, the clinical trials must have been conducted on some kind of unusual group of individuals, because the every day individuals aren’t seeing any success.
ThermaClear is an extremely expensive hand held device acne treatment, and it doesn’t actually have any clinically proven results. This could be why they don’t actually cite any of the supposed studies. Users are reporting negatively as far as we’ve seen, not seeing results, but often experiencing skin burns and even in some cases, worsening acne. Therefore, we would not suggest this product to anybody, let alone an acne sufferer.
